Default ECU debate

so my homie and I are having a debate on an ECU. you see I need an OBD1 LS ECU. at first the P72 was brought but that is no dice (VTEC ECU). then he said P75. I say P74. my debate is the P75 is the OBD2 version. he says it isn't. any help?

Here is a good ECU info source; PGM-FI.org

You will see that there are both OBDI and OBDII P75 ECUs. So you could pick up ether an OBD1 P74 or P75 and you'll be good to go.

see this is more like it. i was beginning to wonder if the P75 had both OBD1 and OBD2 versions.
