Question about checking timing
Im not to sure about how to use the acutal timing light when I check my timing after installing my cams. When I point the light at the lower crank pulley, what will I see. I want to advance my timing to 18 degrees so what will I be looking for. Thanks

White mark by itself = TDC. Red mark flanked on either side by unpainted marks = 16 degrees BTDC. 18 degrees BTDC is mark counterclockwise from red mark.
