question?
Well im getting two different answers each time i ask this... I am in desperate need of a tun up in my 92 integra.... So i have gotten ngk copper plugs so far...Now i am need of wires, cap, rotor and so forth... But here is the question...
I am in the near future going boost and would like a nice and powerfull spark... I was think of going with this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
and a msd blaster 2 and or msd ss coil....... So im not sure if i should go with oem ignition setup or this external set up... Also do i need a msd ignition box and how hard is this to installl... Please any info would be helpful

Stock ignition is good for up to 400hp. If you don't plan on making over that much, just keep the ignition stock. Less stuff to worry about, the external coils need to be mounted properly or else vibration can loosen the mounting bolts and worse the actual coil cables and give you a poor spark.
Stock ignition is not good only until 400hp. I know someone with a turbo LS/VTEC making 654whp on the stock ignition. He maxed out his old 1000cc injectors, put in 1600's and then maxed out his turbo now which is only rated at 600 hp, and he is still running the stock ignition system. My suggestion if you do want a little upgrade would be to get the Nology Hot Wires with NGK Iridium plugs, which that combo has been found to create a spark as good as the MSD system also.
well thank you but im not sure how much power i want to get out of it... I mean i was going to get that kit in the first post and than either get a ss coil and or the blaster.... and i was going to do it the right way but im not sure if i should... I mean i get both yes and no, but if i did it i would want it to work, also is it hard to install or is just like plug and play type... I mean is it really that much of a waste

i think the posts above answered your question that yes it's a waste and it is not necessary
^ Agreed
You will not need aftermarket ignition unless you plan on really modding the car (turbo, full build, etc)
So yeah it would be a waste, should spend the money on other stuff...Suspension, tires, stuff like that.
