Default Problems w/ conversion harness...

Has ne1 used an OBD2b to OBD1 harness in an 01 GSR? Did you have any problems? The problem I'm expeirencing is my car will pretty much start once, appear to richen up and die, then it will not start again...now I'm not stupid, I chip computers so I tried everything. I even tried a total of 3 different ecus that are good, my ecu is good and I think my conversion harness is bad. Please anyone w/ input help. I just don't want to go throught the hassle of sending it back to the seller when I MAY just beable to switch a few wires to get it correct. It isn't trowing a code if that help...please help me!!!

Try putting a volt meter on the harness. Plug one side into one end and the other into the othe end. That way you can check for continuity(sp?).

What your saying makes sense about the fuel pump, please post more info for me and roughly what I need to do, WiggiE, I'm not trying to be rude but where the hell would I start??? There are like 70+ wires I have a good OBD1 ecu, and an ecu jumper harness that isn't allowing my car to run, the fuel pump idea sounds like it would solve my problem...it this due to the immobilizer and if so I thouhgt the imm. was built into the OBD2b ecu, please help soon, thanks, alex

who'd you get the harness from? I got a harness recently and I had the same problem with my swap..well actually the car wouldn't start (no fuel). So we found out that there was no continuity through the iacv wire on the harness
