problems with b18b
i've posted on these problems several times, but can't seem to find the help i need... so i'll post it with more detail
okay so here are my problems... my car starts only if i spray mafsc in the intake mani.. and also when it is running it would run for a little bit and then backfires and go to a low idle and shut down... and my idle screw won't turn,
how do i fix these problems?
i did this swap in my 91 teg and had to change a few things like the intake mani from a b18a, obd0 injectors, distributor, and the engine wire harness... am i missing anything? and will it matter if i use the fuel rail from the b18b? because it sounds like its not gettin fuel through the engine good enough but fuel pump and everything runs fine... and i also changed the o-ring that slips in the fuel rail on the obd0 injectors with the obd1 orings because the obd0 ones were worn out and gas was leaking everywhere everytime i turn it to acc and when i slipped the injectors in the fuel rail, it was a really really tight fit...
forgot to mention, i plugged up the hose that connects to the pcv valve frm the intake mani, because i broke the old pcv valve and havn't had time to go to the autoparts store, would this maybe be why the car is runnin crappy?
