i changed the tranny fluid in my brothers 93 the other day. its a 5 speed, the oil that came out was real thick and dark, not sure if it was every changed. so i put in what i use in my car, the pennzoil synchromesh. it drove brand new for about 5 or 6 days, now unless i let it warm up fully, the car will not go into gear or it grinds bad. is there some reason you shouldnt put synchromesh in cable tranny's or something? it doesnt make any sense to me, it shifted brand new for 5 or so days, now you have to be careful where you shift. it will either grind, be notchy as hell, or just wont go into gear. theres 84K on the car. any thoughts?
