Problem with the rear strut bolt
For some reason the 14mm doesnt' grip at all on the bolt...just goes around after a few tries. How would I go about getting that bolt out? I did a search and a lot of ppl were recomending this drill out thing...but htere are so many there which one would be the best for the job?

the screw extractor will do sumthin about it, but like u said u tried turning it and it didnt do anything meaning its "lost thread" coz its goin keep on turnin not losen it or tightning rite.. so after u take it off just re-thread it.. and u ready to go .....
the problem here isn't with the bolt...that thing is stuck in its place...the problem is that I'm using a 14mm and it doesn't grip when it turns..jsut slides around the bolt without moving it a bit
Got any pictures of it? SOunds severely rusted. I just removed the rear struts on my 1989 LS the other day. If the bolt is so rusted a 14 mm will not work, try a 13 on it. It probably will not work. Before doing that use bolt loosener or a propane blow torch on both sides of the mounting bracket where the bolt goes into. Hopefully that will free it. Le tus know.
i'll do that on tuesday...didn't want to do it today ...because I have to drop my mom's car off at a dealer for 4 hours for a light switch or something so car needs to be operational....for now I'll rock the 4x2 look ...much better than when I only had one spring installed...I have the worst of luck with this mod

1-was at a "mod" meet...but spent most of my time helping other ppl and started on mine so late that were only able to do one spring
2-Had a shitload of problems getting the lower bolt aligned together with the fork when reinstalling
3-rear bolts not coming off
didn't even start to install the camber kit cuz this is just too much of a pain in the ***...I'll just do it when I'm done
