problem with holding a charge
i got a 1990 ls integra and i am stumped, i can charge the battery starts right up, i can turn it off and still starts right up but i got out there the next morning and nothing no clicks no turning no nothing, i checked the grounds and taped up wires that were touching, very lost help me out thanks!
i just bought the battery, but can it be something with relocating it to the trunk? when its running the charge is up to par its just when i turn it off and wait a while
even though its fine when its started? cuz its allright when i jump i would think it would be the alternator if it doesnt stay running i can let it run for hours with no problems... hmmmmm
check your car for parasitic drain..
with what you've provided its not the alternator because it charges and runs fine..if it was a bad alternator your car would die after an hour of being driven..so check it for parasitic drain..(something in your car is drawing power when its not running)

Maybe think about taking the battery and the alternator in to get them tested at an auto parts store?
I dont know for sure what it could be, so getting both of them tested may help you find a solution.

you have to get an inductive DC ammeter that is capable of measuring low current (10mA) (just a Digital multi meter), and a parasitic load tool...
1. make certain that all lights, accessories, and ignition are off.
2. check all vehicle doors to be certain that the interior courtesy (dome) lights are off.
3. disconnect the negative (-) battery cable and install a parasitic load tool
4. start the engine and drive the chicle about 10 minutes, being sure to turn on all lights and accessories including the radio.
5. turn the engine and all accessories off including the underhood light.
6. connect an ammeter across the parasitic load tool switch and wait 10 minutes for all computers and circuits to **** down.
7. open the switch on the load tool and read the battert electrical drain on the meter display..
Results:
Normal = 10 to 30 mA (0.02 to .003 A)
Maximum allowable = 50 mA (0.05 A)

if thats the issue, common components to unplug are the light under the hood..i dont think integras have this..glove compartment light, and truck light..
