problem with coolant not circulating in b18b, need help!!
alright i did a search on the topic and i found a couple topics but no real definitive answers. so heres the problem which im sure some of you have heard before. turn the car on and the engine idles smooth, but thermostat seems to never open, the temp gauge goes right up to 200 then i turn the car off. theres coolant at the thermostat but doesnt seem to get past it to the fan switch. now before everyone tells me things to replace ill give you my list. new aluminum radiator with dual slim fans, new gates radiator hoses, new heater hoses, buddy club fan switch, new thermostat and gasket ( gasket installed in indentations, thermo with jiggle pin pointing up), i took out the stock temp unit and installed the one i got from my autometer gauge, fuses are good, replaced fan relay in fuse box. now ive also burped the upper radiator hose, and ran the car with the cap off. fluid doesnt go down. can there be air in the system? some help i need to get this car driveable!!
