Car is an 96 integra ls. I recently put my power steering back on after a while of driving with out it (delete). I put the power steering on and its leaking from this hole. The one in the middle of the pic next to the inlet hose. Its not a threaded hole? does anything go in there that I am missing?

Could be a high pressure relief valve. If so, you may have a blockage somewhere.

It leaks even when the car is off. Like left over night and theres a little puddle underneath the car.

looking at this diagram, nothing its suppose to go in there... so anyone know what its my problem?

There is a plug in that hole. The hole was made to make an internal passage in the pump body and afterwards the hole is plugged. Are you sure it is leaking from there and not the elbow connection next to it? The elbow uses an o-ring to seal the elbow fitting. If the plug in the pump body is leaking then there is likely no fix except to replace the pump.

Im sure its from there. Ive sat there and watched it drip. is it an internal plug? is there any way i could open it up and plug it back up?

you don't have to open the pump to access the plug but I have no idea how you would go about trying to plug it back up so that it seals again. I guess if you were hardcore about it you could drill and tap the hole to fit a new plug.

almost sounds like the pump housing is damaged somehow, ive never heard of one leaking from there, usually its the orings that are shot. I just did a re-ring on mine the other day cus it was leaking from the bottom seals.

Got to agree with grjr replace the pump, or tap the hole and install a machine screw or bolt, [with some Teflon tape or pipe sealer], it is unlikely you will find the cap/plug that goes in there. 94

will a p72 pump work on an LS? if so i have one off of a jdm engine you can have for $20 + shipping
