i have a 95 integra, i just swapped out the b18b1 for a 92 or 93 b18b. everything went in fine. i didnt use the 92-93 thermostat housing and that mighta effed me. there is supposed to be a 3rd smaller spout on the housing for a smaller coolant hose but there isnt. (red x)

my problem is i now have a hose comming out from beside the top rad hose (on the engine head) and it has no where to go. I bought a T fitting and tapped it into the hose that goes from the IM to the bottom of the TB.... is that a problem? heres a pic, the red X is what i <U>dont</U> have, and is where the line went on the old thermo housing.

the red line is the route the line <u>now</u> takes... and i need to know if this is a problem

show pics of the actual car and we might be able to help you

 

if you cant tell whats in the diagram, then you most likely cant help...too much stuff in the way to take a pic

basically i used a 95 thermostat housing, on a 92-93 motor. the red X is a spout that is not on the 95. therefore i redirected the red line, and tapped into the IM--&gt;TB hose

could this cause an over heating issue?

 

anyone? i called honda and they dont know sweet jesus.

can i block off the small hose comming from the top rad spout on the head????
