ok, this is goin to be waaaay hard to describe. on a 96 gsr, 45K on the motor, 119K on everything else. i noticed my valves were gettin noisier the other day, so i opened up the hood to listen where it was comin from to make sure it was the valves. so i opened up the hood, and reved it real quick a couple times. i revved it up to probably in the neighborhood of 5K the second time, and i heard a loud click come from the distributor side. the best way i can describe it is it sounded like someone took a screwdriver and wacked the side of the cap real quick(not with the handle end). i got nervous cuz i thought it was something from in the head. so i took the v/c off and looked it all over...i saw nothin out of the ordinary but that loud click is still there after i put her all back together. so, i have parked the car til i can figure out wat it is. any thoughts at all?

 

Not To Hijack The Thread, But To Bump For More Info. I'm Having The Same Problem On my DB8, It's A Ticking Sounds Like Its Coming From The Distributor But Not Sure
