Please help on DC MAJOR ISSUE
First of all please don't criticize me and leave your negative comments to yourself.
I need to know the location of all of the hidden vins on a dc integra. i know about the obvious locations such as the firewall, dash and on the door jam. My problem is a made my car rhd. So it has the jdm dash and firewall. My problem is when I open my door there is no vin sticker. Apparently my car was hit before I bought it on the driver side. The dumb asses who painted it covered the vin sticker. I didn't know this until today when I went to look at my car at my friends house where it is getting worked on. Where else on the car is there a vin so i can get a new vin issued. I have to get it inspected by the local auto theft department so that I can get a new vin issued. The officer has to see an actual vin on the car to fill out the paperwork so that I can get a new re-issued vin. Please let me know. I have been researching it online and for example the ef as like 8 locations where a vin is. I know a newer car has to have more than one place. My car is a 94. Unfortunately there is no vin on the motor or transmission.

i have the car registered in my name. That is not the problem.I obviously have the old dash with the vins and the cutout firewall. The detective said it has to be a stamped or vin on the car itself
There has to be more locations than just those 3 main locations. If I have to get under the car and show the inspector I will. The car is already done being converted to rhd. If I cannot find any physical vins the car will be impounded. Believe me I had no idea that the sticker wasn't there. Any input would be appreciated except obvious negative feedback.lol
Second post on the second thread from a google search for 'Integra VIN locations' on Honda-Tech:
VIN decals on body panels only happen on cars from 96+. In pre-95 cars, the VIN is located on the dash, door jam, and firewall..... which helps when you do VIN verification with CHP for a RHD car . Same applies to a totalled/salvage car in for VIN verification.

already looked. unfortunately no good information. just general information on where the vin could be. i looked on the car and nothing thing there.if you find any specific information can you please paste and post it.
You got rid of the dash one, and the door jamb is painted over. Process of elimination leaves the firewall VIN.
You know that it has to be readily visible to anyone looking at the car, which rules out the interior side of the firewall. On the engine side of the firewall, there aren't that many places it could be and still be visible. Go look at the firewall again, I bet you can find it.

the firewall has been replaced with a jdm firewall. it has no usdm vin on it. the detective is looking for my usdm vin that my name is registered too on whatever is not swapped over. So I need to find a visible vin on the rest of the car
There are only three chassis VIN locations on early Gen3 Integras. If you removed the engine, transmission, firewall, and dash, then you only have one VIN location left.
So how is it that an ef has like 8 locations on the car which is from an earlier year and a dc only has 3.

IDK. Later Integras have one on every body panel. But your year only has three chassis code locations plus the engine and transmission. At least you still have one on your door jamb.

There's VIN tags on any original body panels including rear quarter panels, fenders, doors, trunk, bumpers, etc... Not sure if you tried that already. Didn't read the whole thread.
why was the fire wall replaced? You said you had the old dash you should of drilled out the old vin and moved it over.. its not legal but works I had to do it on my civic with an integra dash.
If your one in the door jam, firewall, and dash and motor are missing, your in a world of trouble
