I recently bought a theif recovery car from a auction. I just currently bought a 2000 integra shell. The problem I have is the car only has one vin number on the car and it is a sticker on the passenger side. There is no vin on the dash because there isnt no dashboard. There is no vin on the firewall either because it is a rhd converted shell. Where else can I find a vin on the car? I have the title in hand but the problem is how am i suppose to register the car with no vin beside the sticker with the vin number on the passenger side? Is there another vin somewhere that I dont know of. If anyone can lead me to any info would be very helpful. How would I prove that I own that car? Will chp issue me the missing vin on the dash and firewall?

 

You will need to get a new vin. Contact CHP on what needs to be done.
