PLEASE HELP ASAP STARTING PROBLEMS
Ok heres my story, have a 94 teg with 140k and it was smoking badly sincie i had gotten it so i knew i needed an engine replacement. Was driving in 3rd gear at about 5500rpm and completley loss all power( felt like i geared down to like 2nd and let out on the clutch). Anyways car would turn over but wouldnt start up. I have since put in a JDM B18b1. Im using the JDM wiring harness with 1 plug switched from the USDM harness and the USDM throttle body(so i have the MAP sensor). Am still having the same problem car will turn over but no fire. I have an OHM meter and the distrb. power wire is def getting current when cranked but yet no spark from the spark plug(have switched between 2 dif distributors). My car throws no check engine codes. I have checked and rechecked all plugs/grounds/fuses. I have nothing else to swap out but try to swap ECU's. Can anyone think of anything i can check or test before I buy another ECU? Does anyone know if there any other differences in the USDM wiring harness Vs JDM wiring harness other than the plug on the drives side that ive changed.
Bump cuz i need some help. Gona check the timing this morning any other possibilities? and if it had jumped time the plugs would atleast fire wouldnt they?when I take my wire and spark plug out and try to crank it there is no blue spark. Also the same prob with both engines makes me think that it couldnt be the timing. Im honestly about to pull my engine that i just put in put the old one back in and put full coverage on it and run it off a cliff. PLEASE HELP
ok Distrb and valve timing are dead on. Now car wont even crank over and everytime i try to start it blows the ignition fuse under the hood(50amp). ANY IDEAS?"???
