PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
96 gsr motor pouring oil from the back of the block when turning it over. "POURING" yes i put oil on the seal before screwing it on. and the seal is there, i'm not possitive it's coming from oil filter, it's pouring it from somewhere though. i mean a whole 4 courts in a few minutes. you turn it over it sounds like someone turned the waterhose on under the car. it's driving me crazy, could the block be clogged or something? i just put it together. i don't know what's going on.
Sounds like an oil filter issue. That's the only place I know that will spew that much oil in a short amount of time. BTW, why does it look like you're missing the male connector on your block for where the filter sits in?

i wondered the same thing when i found the picture on google, that's not my block, i just uploaded it to see what those were. i knew they weren't freeze plugs, but didn't know what they were.
Personally, I'm too lazy to be ripping the head off and re-doing everything to find out it was fine. You can tell if it's your head gasket because you'll see a fine divide between your head and block where the oil will sit below the head.
Stupid question but did you bought the right filter and tighten it flush? I've had a friend that forgot to tighten his filter and lost $27 worth of oil.

i lubed the filter and tightened it flush, the rite filter? it was the part number for a 96 integra.
i don't think it's leaking oil out of the head, i think it's possible the head gasket might be on backwards causing the oil to deadhead and blow out the oil filter. that's why i asked how i could tell if the head gasket was on upside down or backwards.
i've also already unscrewed the oil filter, inspected the rubber seal, and cleaned the spot the oil filter seals to with a wire brush.

Personally I would put oil back in it. unplug the distributor and have someone turn the engine over while you look with a flash light. When you put a head gasket on you have to always make sure the arrow stamped on it is facing up like it says. It is very possible to put it on upside down without noticing. Ive had it happen before. Also make sure you have the right head gasket. match it up against your an old one to make sure all the ports match. If doing mini me setups you have to be careful on which head gasket you buy for it. Most likely if the oil was shooting at your firewall then its going to be the head gasket. Ive been there before as well
Sad to admit but yes I have done it on my gsr. Put the headgasket backwards. Got everything together and turned it on and next thing you know oil crapping out like crazy from the back of my block. It took only seconds.
