Default please help!!

1) ROUGH idle like 800 to 600 over and over non stop...up,down,up,down...

2) accelration is awfull, stutters terribly... spits and sputters

3) will not go into 3rd gear... one in every 100 trys... it will go in perfect..

4) front/driver tire tread is wearing in some weird wavey surface..

5) massive wheel/road noise... not bearings, there is no play in bearing when car is jacked up and inspecting bearings...

6) short in light switch... sometimes lights dont come on unless you mess with the switch just the right way...then the lights pop on.

7) crappy gas mileage.

help... this is my DD

The rough idle could be many things from a bad distributor to a bad ecu. But you should consider cleaning your iacv and adjusting the idle screw. My guess would be a vacuum leak somewhere.Bad acceleration could be caused by many factors. I would consider checking the timming first, then for a clog cat, distributor, spark plug wires and spark plugs and work my way from there. Your car not going into third gear could be because you have no transmission fluid or clutch/brake fluid. It could also mean your clutch master cylinder is going bad. If worst comes to worst, then your heading to a new tranny because of bad syncros. The tired tread wearing could be because you are suffering from some type of chamber wear or needs alignment or new axles. Crappy gas mileage could be mainly from a bad/faulty o2 or clogged cat or fuel injector. Timming also plays a huge role in this. This is all I can help with.

I think ILS_09 hit most of the nails on the head. I'll just add a few things.

1) Check for vacuum leaks
2) Check PCV, Oxygen sensor, etc
3) Your synchros may be going out. Always rev the engine to the approximate RPM for rev-matching purposes.
4/5) Alignment may be off causing uneven wear which would also cause bad road noise.
6) Replace light switch(?)
7) Back to O2 sensor, PCV

You have a lot of issues with your DD. Did they come all at once or something? #'s 4 and 5 may be linked as well as #'s 2 and 7.
