okay when i start my car up.. my "maintenance" light blinks for about 5 seconds.. then it goes away.. does this mean i need an oil change? tune up? sorry im new to integras.. i have a 96 LS btw.. thanks

It's just a pre-set maintenance light. It comes on to remind you of scheduled maintenance check up, or in other words "bring me to your local dealer and take it dry"

 

You can reset it. Search on how, this has been asked many times. There is a button up under your steering column and there is a certain procedure.

 

turn your key to the "on" position, and press the button thats on the bottom side of the dash above your right knee.

this light is just a preset light that turns on at a preset interval to remind you do to oil changes and whatnot. Noithing is necessarily wrong with your car.

 

i think you have to hold onto the bottom and it'll go off. I'm in need of an oil change right now. my light is also blinking.
