Default please Help

hello, honda-tech members.
Please help me! this this car that I use for work and school.
Today my car died on me while I was driving home. first of all, the fuel pump didn't work. I checked all the fuses see if they got burn, but they were fine. I thought the fuel pump was bad so I took the whole gas tank out and checked it. the fuel pump worked fine when I conected straight to the battery but it didn't pump when I turn the ignition key on. then I tested the fuel pump plug see if there is any power, but no. Its a 91 4dr auto integra.
all of the fuses are fine, the fuel pump works, but the power doesn't reach to the fuel pump plug ( the plug thats located under the rear seat)
can some one please help me what I in order do to get the car run, or any links that show how to do it.
thank you very much for your input.

did you just say you pulled the whole gas tank out??

anyways, sounds like a short somewhere, check all the electrical lines. You should also try installing another fuel pump to see if that works or not, just to narrow it down.

first of all, thanks for your input
to answer the question,
yeah, I did take out the whole gas tank out in order to get to the fuel pump because its a 91 Integra, the old model and its was a pain in the *** to do that

It must be the electrical lines some where but I dont know where to start. Could it be the Fule Main Relay?
lets hear more from other people!

Bump

probably around 70 bucks from the dealer. why go there? try to find one elsewhere and save some money.

I got the main relay replaced today and got the car run, now I'm very happy

but one more problem that I have been having for along time is that the car idles like crazy.
when the car is cold, I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal the whole time, otherwise its gona died. it will get a lil better when its warm, but I also have to keep my foot on the gas dedal again when I stop at the lights or stop signs after a while of driving or it will died on me.
at first, I thought It would be better after I changed the fuel filter, so I dit that but nothing happened. after that, I tried to change the Control Idle which is located behind the Intake manifold to fix the problem, but its still there.
Now I dont know what I should do. Can someone please tell me what i have to do next to fix the problem cuz i dont know what else I should do.

I really appreciated your help. thanks
