Im trying to get my integra I bought running right. Who ever owned it before me has gotten me confused.
I have this picture kind of explaining my situation. Should I have a pcv valve there attached to that hose with a bolt in it?
And it seems im getting alittle oil running down my air intake?
Its a 99 gsr with a b18b swap no idea what year the motor is.

As it is right now, you're blowing everything into the intake before the throttle body.
longest project ever
the oil running down your intake is because the PCV valve is plugged and crankcase pressure is forcing it out somewhere

The PCV valve is not "plugged", it's MISSING. It's been REPLACED with a plug. All blowby is being forced through the breather pipe, which is still installed.Originally Posted by lostforawhile

This is part of why I like buying used cars from little old ladies: they may not have taken care of the car, but at least they won't have pulled stunts like this.

looks like a flywheel bolt pull it out and see if you can get a replacment gasket... Should be a 17mm 12pt

the gasket comes with the pcv, if thats what your saying
Thanks boys, one more thing can anyone find me the right part on napa for me? And its seems like im going to need a longer hose for it.
Ill do it later today, if i can get the part and gasket if they dont come together.

Does 99 pcv and gasket work for this?
Napa has two types for each the gasket and pcv. Both are the same though right?
Napa numbers
gasket
BKP 6301089
ALT PC2901
Pcv
UNI 29347
ALT KP106

what does the head look like when looking inside the oil cap? If it's been run a long time like that it is bad news for the life of the motor.
I think he motor swapped it and sold it. I'd say I ran it for a day by mistake. I don't see much.

don't sweat it. just get the valve and hose and install them. crankcase pressure still vents through the ported fresh air side. not like it has nowhere to go

It's not a great big deal, but the fact that all the blowby is being vented north of the throttle plate means that the intake and throttle plate will get fouled much more quickly with oil. The breather is not meant to replace the PCV valve.
