Well the earlier ones had some problems with the flaps falling apart and getting it sucked into the engine. I haven't heard about the newer ones yet. You will lose HP and torque because it do causes a restriction on the air flow. Unless you live in a state where it rains 9 months out of year I wouldn't waste my money on it. Most HT members on here who had it don't like it.

It keeps rain from getting sucked up in your engine, but as stated above it restricts air flow. Personally, I heard it was a piece of ****. IMO, I wouldn't waste my money, just don't drive through puddles.
