Well the earlier ones had some problems with the flaps falling apart and getting it sucked into the engine. I haven't heard about the newer ones yet. You will lose HP and torque because it do causes a restriction on the air flow. Unless you live in a state where it rains 9 months out of year I wouldn't waste my money on it. Most HT members on here who had it don't like it.

A bypass valve is not necessary on a CAI.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Lord Helmet &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Unless you live in a state where it rains 9 months out of year I wouldn't waste my money on it. It keeps rain from getting sucked up in your engine, but as stated above it restricts air flow. Personally, I heard it was a piece of ****. IMO, I wouldn't waste my money, just don't drive through puddles.
