No matter where you go or what ANYONE says, dont let your gaurd down. Dont trust anybody in the automotive world, because you never know...

I for one got ripped off by ATOMIC PERFORMANCE, they are now out of business, does anyone ever remember them????????? They should, because it was only a year ago that everyone was talking about how good they were and what not...

So be careful....but on the upside, I too have heard great things about importbuilders and will be getting some stuff from them in the very near future. I really do think that atomic might have corrected their mistake if they were still around, but they are not, so I am SOL, but I dont see IB going anywhere soon.

I've met Jeff, and he's a nice and honest guy. He also knows what he's doing, especially with tuning for Hondata and such...
I have several friends that have had good experience with IB.

I hear that, don't trust anyone, but I have talked to Jeff at ImportBuilders and he is awesome. I would go thru him if I had the money and you DEFINANTLY get what you pay for. I've also been on the msg board http://www.importreview.com for a while, it's kinda died a lil though. Very honest and knowledgable person

Yeah, I wish Atomic would have died sooner, so I would have went through IB instead...I too though I got what I paid for, and I did in a way, the compression is great and it was what i asked for a 94 us spec motor, but I'm just pissed that they charged me for a clutch that was "supposedly" installed while the engine was being installed in the car...that was fucked up.

How reliable?? Well...I'll give u first hand experience. I just got a gsr motor swapped in my hatch by IB. Picked it up last friday...went to Norcal the next day...total of just under 800 miles (roundtrip). NO PROBLEMS!!!! Everyone there is great.

I've always liked how they've represented themselves. And their customers always have good things to say.

And from the brief conversations that I've had with Jeff, he too gets a from me.

i just bought parts from these guys (pistons, rods, main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, main seal, rear seal). always showed up on time as promised. jeff is almost always available for tech questions which is nice when u live in a small town like mine and have no tuners anywhere near u. tomo usually answers the phone and is a good person to talk to also. as far as price, i think their prices r excellent even on built motors. u can find a complete swap for the prices they want for a BUILT block shipped. importbuilders is awesome.

Well my cousin just got his fully built b20 block from them with no problems he also said that Jeff was a great guy to do business with. But we are still waiting for my brothers block which is a gsr block to be sent, but he said it was harder to find a gsr block. But we don't have no worries cause all we here is good stuff about them and he already did send my cousin his 13.1 compression b20 block. So I give them a
