What year is your integra? Does it have a latch in back? If not there should be a switch down where the button to open the gas tank is. My hatch is broken so I need to turn the key and pull the latch in order to open mine.

If you have keyless entry, you hold the little lever on the hatch while pressing unlock on the keyless remote. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I hate the new hatch locking mechanism on the later model 3rd gen tegs.

The way it's supposed to work is that if you unloack all the doors with the door lock lever inside the car, the hatch should then be able to be opened with that little lever under the hand hole on the hatch. You can also open your electric locks by turning the key in the driver's door and holding it turned for a a couple of seconds. If you are sure your electric locks are open, then your problem is the hatch lock actuator. I know, I had the same problem.

The part can be purchased from your local Acura dealer or a little cheaper online. It's an easy repair once you have the new part.

The part (74840-ST7-A01 ACTUATOR ASSY.) plus shipping cost me $65.26 from AcuraParts247.com and if you order it from them before the end of the year, I think you can get it for 25% off that amount.

Good luck,

JD
