If I were you I wouldn't run open header. I did that on my GS for a week. No performance gains, no better milage, stinks, and can be harmful to your engine. IE- burn a valve.

IF you do decide to you don't need to have the second sensor hooked up. It will throw a CEL but that is why. I believe its just kinda like a check sensor to make sure everything coming out is the way it should be.

But do what you want to do, its your car.

I agree. Running without a header will make you lose h.p. All N/A engines need to have backpressure. The diameter, length, and construction of a header is designed to help evacuate the exhaust gases.

If your car is turbocharged, running without a exhaust will help. But even those cars utilize some type of exhaust manifold.

But running without a header on a N/A engine is silly.

I wouldnt run open header if the motor is stock but if you had cams or high compression then go for it. But the problem your going have with the o2 sensors is that both of them have to be functing with some type of exhaust flow on an OBD2 car. The honda o2's work off of heat so, the check engine will come on and it will run like ****. Best bet is to just gut the cat.
