alright so my car was running fine, until about 45 minutes ago.
pulled up to my buddies house to show him a water leak i have, started the car and just doing some routine checks on the engine, i started revving the engine, everytime i did though it chocked a little at the beginning when i revved it hard, when i revved it slow it didnt have that problem, after the third rev it bogged out and died. now it wont start again.


any suggestions?
check list of what i should check/what it could be?

Ive got a '95 ls special edition.

 

also if this is of any importance, i was running the car pulling one spark plug out at a time to make sure they were firing before the car died.

 

sounds to me like a coil or something in the distributor, do you know anyone who has a good one you can throw on to check?

 

nah i dont, anyone i know thats into cars here, are either american muscle talk **** on ricers type of person. or they dont know a dang thing about cars and always take theres to a shop when it needs a new battery or something like that...

hmm.. are you checking for spark/fuel?

if there is no spark, you need to test the ignitor and ICM in the distributor.

yeah i checked the distributor and it seemed fine.
the car will crank it just wont turn over.
