Default Oil Question

I have a 98 Integra B18b1 with 77k miles. Right now im running basic oil. Im going to do my own oil change this week. Would it be fine to run synthetic? All my own will be drained out of course first, im not adding to my existing oil. Im guessing itll probly smoke alittle bit but thats all. Anyway would I be fine to switch? If so what changes will I experience?

changing your oil of to fully synthetic isn't going to change anything. you can switch between the two when ever you want really. i prefer to use fully synthetic just because it is a better oil. make sure you change the oil filter as well.

in higher mileage engines itll loosen up the gunk that holds your engine together and youll start burning oil but 77k isnt high mileage.
