oil problem???

Default oil problem???

ok so i put a new clutch in my car and i drive it down the street and my oil light came on so i went back home and there is barely a little drop of oil on my dipstick so i put oil in it to fill it up i only put 3 1/2 qourts in it and it is like 1 qourt to much go drive it down the street and like when i get on it my oil light will blink but my oil is full so is it cuz i have to much oil or is it my oil pump goin bad or somehting someone help me out here cuz im scared of driving my car and just ignoring the light cuz i have enough oil then my rods start to knock or something and its a 93 integra rs with a b16a in it

you need to get an oil pressure test done to the motor(unless you have a gauge to do this you will need to bring it to your mechanic . possible oil pump, also its possible that the sender could be going bad.

sender is on the back of the block. you can unscrew it and plug in a gauge to see if the pressure is correct. about 25-30 psi for fully warmed up and around 70-80 cold.

I run a boosted gsr and my fully warmed up pressure is 23-25, and ice cold is 70 psi on the money. I also run 15-50w Mobil 1

anybody got a pic of it????so if my pressure doesnt read that that means my oil pump is going out right
