Default Obd2a to Obd1

I have what i think is a simple question.

I have an 98 gsr that im pulling a motor out of...therefore the gsr in it is obd2.

*I also have a obd1 gsr distributor from a past b20v.

My question is....if i pull the obd2a distributor off of the obd2a gsr, and replace it with the obd1 distributor....would the engine be considered obd1 and plug and play into an obd1 engine harness?
