Default OBD0 to OBD1 conversion with auto tranny

Ok, I'm tired of the ECU complaining about me ditching the EGR stuff. So I am going to make a jumper harness and use a 95 LS ECU out of a auto trans car (my car is automatic). I know how to wire everything up, and I know how to make everything work. Except I also know the transmissions from my '90 and a '95 are different. I have searched endlessly on this and like 6 other forums, so maybe i am the first to attempt this, since I have found absolutly nothing on the topic. Does anyone know if my '90 automatic trans will operate like normal with the '95 automatic ECU? If so I will be OBD1 in the next few days. Also hopefully a P28 ecu from a automatic 92-95 civic EX would work with this tranny also, with a chip that would solve my future VTEC plans also.

Thanks
