changing to obd1 ecu
hey guys i have a 97 civic (d16y7 motor) and i'm changing my ecu to a p06 obd1 and wanted to know if those conversion harnesses that you see online/ebay will work with cars that have an automatic tranny. thanks

you'd have to ask the maker of the harness if it has the wires for it or not.
I'm not 100% sure that an OBD1 ECU will work with an OBD2 auto trans... I don't have any knowledge that would prove it wouldn't either.

Boomslang now make an auto conversion harness but you have to use an OBD1 autotransmission, OBD1 TCM and ECU
