Default No power to starter 95 LS. Tired of pop starting.

Im haveing problems i took off my starter to test it because i thought it went out last night the starter ended up being good also ran my friends starter turns out there is no power going to the starter checked it with a meter . What can this be? What should i check for?

you sure you don't have power from battery to starter? It would be the battery cable that goes to the starter or it would be your igintion wire as well.

yes battery wire to starter is connected..what ignition wire are you talking about?

Check the grounds. I had the same or similar problem & it was caused by a corroded ground wire

Try first Checking or replacing your .... PGM-FI Main Fuel relay...maybe Fuel pump giving out...bad injectors GL!

no it doesent but it has been pulled and tested. And swaped for another starter with the same result no power goin to starter to crank it.

The power wire to the starter is a straight wire to the battery. No relay, fuse etc is involved. If you're not getting power, then the connections or the wire itself is bad. It couldn't be simpler than that.

could be a bad engine ground. try a better ground.
