Default Nitrous Info!

I’m thinking about putting a nitrous kit in my 1995 Integra GSR, but I need some opinions first. Here is a little about the car. It’s got a skunk 2 Intake, DC 4-2-1 header, piggy back chip, and an AEM cold air intake. 143000 miles on a stock engine and as far as I know it has the stock head gasket on it. So what kit should I go with? What size should I go with? And should it be wet or dry. Please help

100 wet shot. you can always change how big of a jet you use. Make sure you get a wet kit, its the easiest and safest way to go. Also I dont think you need the 2nd header, you can take it out of your trunk or wherever you have it.

In addition to everything you listed, I would add:

colder spark plugs
retrad the timing
ditch the "piggy back chip" in favor of other engine management
replace fuel filter

I would start out lower, with maybe a 45 shot and see how it goes. If all is well, the motor seems healthy and you want more, then go up a little more. If you get Hondata, you can buy larger injectors and a dry nitrous system. The Hondata unit can control the dry nitrous system for you, and does a very good job at it.

If you have to ask those kind of questions nitrous is probably not the right choice for you. Do some research learn how all the stuff under the hood works then you will be good to run nitrous

Spark plugs are sold via heat ranges. Find otu what your car has stock adn then buy two stage colder plugs. That simple.

You change the angle of the distributor. I beleive to retard the timming you move it towards the firewall? Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I would suggest NOT getting the nitrous purge kit. I had nitrous on my car and just kept purging it out to show off to friends or scare people on the cross walks. Then when I needed it... the tank was empty.
Nitrous is a refilleable power source... not a route I would go again for power adder.

Am I the only one who doesn't know what second header he is referring too?

I am sure the OP said like 4-2-1 headerS or something like that and then fixed it later. Something real dumb and pointless. Who cares everyone knows what he meant.

4 - 2- 1 is the style of header. Did you actually think he had 2 headers?

you will turn the distributor clockwise to retard the timing.
