Default Newer ABS conversion. Searched.

I wanted to convert my older, bigger 94-97( i believe) to the 98+ ITR ABS system ( the 01 ITR ABS to be exact)

I wanted to know if anyone had done this. I searched and saw that many people wanted to run the JDM HID DC2 headlights and on the older ABS version. But clearences wouldnt allow it. I wanted to know if anyone of those people sucessfully replaces the old system w/ the new one.

I know I will need a whole new ABS unit, New lines and perhaps a newer Master cylinder.

f anyone has the lines and mc in the la area LMK! Also post if u have done this sucessfully! TIA

it should fit right in. the problem will be wiring. since the newer cars were obd2 theres a good chance the plugs are different for the new abs as well.

yeah thats what i was thinking. the wiring and the abs ecu. if its a huge hassle id rather not. but i like the itr abs systems a lot more than the 94-95.

The wiring is significantly different. Search google for "hondahookup manuals" and look at the 94 and 98 manuals. The 94-97 (except ITR) unit is a three channel and the 98-01 is a four channel.
