an air filter is an air filter, generally.. but k&n is usually the best. but not knowing that, good luck with the nitrous man. be careful

I think hes talking about that new filter made by ZEX that has the nitrous nozzle plumbed directly into it-->

looks pretty cool! but depending on where your filter is placed(ie- on the end of a CAI pipe)it might be more efficient to drill near the the TB like normal

Looks pretty cool to me. Im no nitrous expert, but for certain applications, I believe it is beneficial to spray as far away from the TB as possible.

its better to be as far away from TB as possible to allow proper mixture of air/n2o

Yah... that way it also cools the intake charge much more than spraing right at the TB.

it isnt a bad thing but as far as spraying as far fromn the tb as possible....it doesnt matter. in fact the further away you spray the less torque you will gain. I guess this would be a personal preference thing

i think it is better to put the n2o nozzle on the end of the CAI. Even though the speed that the air flows through the intake it still will make a better air/n20 mixture rather then having it 6-8 inches away from the TB like ZEX says to do.

Now why do you say you will gain less torque by having the nozzle away? i don't understand? expalin your theory?

X2, in getting a dry Zex Kit also and saw this filter, initially thought sweet! I'll try that. But I agree with the above quote since most installs recommend drilling around 6" from the tb intake or directly on the tb. I think having the spray so far from the intake could potentially lose some of the nitrous benefit but I'm only speculating.

ZEX recommends 6"-18" from TB for nozzle. 94
