New to Modding the Teg...
If you want 1 inch drop, the closest thing for springs is Eibach Pro kit. I like mine and they ride nice. For shocks, just do something simple like KYB GR2 or Tokico Blue, if you don't want adjustability. If you do, KYB AGX or Tokico 5-way is fine. If you live in a race track, then yeah slam your car but most of us live in a world where roads are imperfect and need the suspension to travel.
but yea... ebay is a greatt way to save money and ppl say the parts suk.
Correction... alot of ppl who say parts suk is cuz they dont do maintenance or keep these parts in well workin condition.
DRAGONFLY2K3 dude... yea wit ur ebay springs, they gna squeek in the jus cuz of the weather but u can grease em and spray em down every once in while to stop the squeeking.
Any parts mi friends and i got off ebay work really well so we havnt had any trouble wit em(knock on wood) haha.

Lower your car on Tokico Blues if you like driving around on blown shocks (and I think the GR2s are pretty much the same thing but I'm not sure)... they aren't performance shocks and were not meant to lower your car on. Get Tokcio Illuminas or Koni Yellows for a nice stiffness-adjustable shock.

Look at it this way:
Just like the rest of us, the modifications you do now will not always stick with your car forever. Your car styling will change over time with your tastes. Some people, like myself, prefer an clean "OE"-look on the outside to keep the modifications you do sleeper. Yet others go all out with body kits and rims, ect...
So my point is, do like the rest of us. Spend like 100 hours a week on Honda-tech and other online forums soaking up all the knowledge and know-how you can and I bet you will figure out on your own what modifications you will do. Honda-tech is a great place to start, but don't limit yourself to it. There have been hundreds of books written about just anything you need to know. "How to make your car handle" by fred phun, "Secrets of Autocross racing" (can't remember author, has red cover) and even "Honda/Acura Performance handbook" or "How to make honda horsepower" would be a great start. You can find any of these at your local bookstore.
Good luck!

spend some money on it, after all it is what your riding on. i wouldnt trust my life to ebay springs. i think someone on here had some ebay springs and they rusted out after a couple months. but if you dont want a big drop i would go with itr springs, or eibach.
thanks to all that posted so far! I've gathered a lot of knowledge about springs for this teg.
I think for what suits me right now would probably be the two... Neuspeed and/or Eibach. I liked the Tein stechs but i dont think that'll give me the subtle rake look i'm going for. The Neuspeed, I believe, are 1.7f and 1.5r whereas the Teins say they will do 1.5 all around.
Anyone heard or have the Tokico suspension kit? Priced reasonable and it comes with springs/shocks for under $400.
One more favor... can you all start posting pics of your rides with springs and shock combo or just springs if no shocks. Please make sure you post the pic and tell me what you are running.
cheers,

cheers,
I personally run the Eibach sportlines, and love them.
However, you said you are looking for a slight rake, and I do not believe the Eibach spring lines are going to give that, they are more of an even drop. Some people even argue that the rear looks a little lower, but it is only optical illusion.
Search around the site, there should be tons of pictures.
As for a front lip, I would look for either a ITR or Si-VTEC style of lip. Try jdmshit.com. Not as cheap as ebay, but all urethane for a reasonable price. I think they even used to be a sponsor here, not sure if they still are.

The Tokico Illumina kit is a perfect budget setup. KYB AGX shocks and springs of your choice isn't a bad option either. Anything of less quality on a lowered car will cause problems later. Also consider a front and rear camber kit, or you might have some uneven tire wear.
Personally, I am partial to Koni Yellow's and Grond Control coil overs, but this setup is considerably higher in price ($800).
Do it once, do it right. Good luck with your teg!

so if one gets the koni yellows and ground control coil overs do they have to adapt or change anything else to the car.
if one is to purchase the set as you said it would be generally plug and play right?
