Need some help
im going to change the timing belt and water pump this weekend. i was wondering what type of sealer should i use for the o ring on the water pump?
i have turbo cam and cam gears and i dont know how the hell to tell where TDC is on them. too many expletiveing numbers and ****. i was wondering if i just find the TDC on the block, can i just mark the cam gears and then just change the belt.
i dont know im just nervous about getting the timing off.
here in hawaii **** is expensive

I use none. The o-ring will seal.

You can find TDC using the crank pully. There is a catch: TDC on the crank could be 180 degrees out for the cams. Make sure that the rockers for cylinder 1 are closed. The cam gears should be pointing up.
You case may be different, but check this link:

if you can use a vicegrip or somthing to lock the cams in place when you take the old one off, it should be alot easier to get it back on. other than that idk.
