Default Any basic mods while timing belt is off?

I'm getting the timing belt/water pump replaced on Wednesday, and was just wondering if there are any related cheap and basic mods I could do while that's all off? I'm talking either parts (under $150) or maybe timing advance. Any suggestions? I have 2 days to order stuff and have it overnighted!

Oh yeah! Duh...
But...
How much difference do cam gears really make?
I've heard it's basically a waste of cash from several people on this board.
Any thoughts?

yeah i was going to say cam gears as well.
You should put them on now even if you won't make use of them yet, at least when you can you will already have them installed and not have to pull off the timing belt again

I would replace the water pump with a electric water pump. It reduces the drag on the crank to free up more power.

I would not do the electric water pump due to the fact that due to the loss of drag on the motor it will always idle high around 1500 rpms and also for a street car it will take forever for the engine to warm up

Well, might as well do cams too. Then cam gears. It's all right there. Try some Crower cams, they're reasonably priced and pack a pretty good punch too.

Default Underdrive Pullies.

No doubt, the most most bang for the buck while the timing belt is off are the underdrive pullies. They are awesome on a tight autocross course. I have the AEM ones that underdrive the steering and alternator. Orthodox is waaaay too underdrive if you plan on driving around town.
