Default Need Help With Fields Vtec Controller??!!

I bought a fields controller off of a friend the other day. I used the helms and made sure i have it hooked up correctly. The controller is reading vtec and rpm just fine, no problems there, but when i step on the gas real quick my car feels like it is boggin out and wants to stall or it wont let me pass 2krpm??

but when i lean in to the throttle slow is works just fine.
nto sure whats going on, but i was wonderin if it had anything to do with that VTN line. They say something about taping one end of this up??

what do they mean by that?

yeah I'd read the V-AFC install directions (free download off their site)...they have a few bugs fixes in terms of proper wiring that would probably work.

Try turning the unit off and see if it makes a difference

Check the plug into the back of the unit, they're often loose.
I ended up cutting the plug off and soldering it straight into the unit.

Mmmmm, weird
im pretty sure its ok, since it never left my buddies car after being installed professionally, i was there helping him take it out too, we were very careful with everything.
ill double check though

oh and jsut to make sure im supposed to tape off the VTM wire and just connect the fileds straight to the ecu right

Yep, that sounds right. If everything is the same as in the manual then there must be something wrong with the SFC. Double check your wiring anyway.
