what up...i got a 2001 gsr
today i was at my friends shop installing my new tein basics...fronts went on in 30 minutes...but the rear somewhere was rusted over....i know my mechanics with engines...but know jack **** about suspension.

what was rusted that the rears wouldnt go on? what do i need to buy and where can i get them...i need them ASAP i got a big show coming up....please someone help

i had the same problem when installing my suspension. front went right on and had alot of trouble with gettin the bolts off in the rear.

it's called the rear lower control arm bolt. on integras it's infamous for seizing up in the bushing.

since you have full coilovers, just take a dremel or saw all and cut the shock. then you will have to remove the entire rear lower control arm and then torch out the bushing. then you will have to get a new bushing pressed in or just take a giant c clamp to diy press the bushing the in. you will also need a new rear lower control arm bolt.

**** it....i ordered new rear lower control arms with bushings and bolts from acura...paid to much...but i couldnt find aftermarkets...i would love to to the sensible thing here...but ill only have an hour at my friends shop thursday...and i just gotta get it done quick by saturday...thanks for the advice tho
