Need Help.
ok well i purchased a 94 gsr shell and when i drop in my motor and everything the last thing i did was put in the shift linkage but seems like im missing something for it seems like its a pin/bolt that i need for the actual shifter well thnx in advance and here is a pic of what im talking about hopefully i can get some help :D
anybody? i tried putting a bolt and but but before i got to crank the engine i tested to see if it shift right and only went to 1st 2nd and 5th gear
so i was like there is something wrong and i think its bc of the pin that goes there

It's commonly refered to as the "bitch pin" Look on page 8 my build thread (link is below) you'll see what it looks like, as well as the tool to install it and remove it.
I'd say just go buy a new one at the dealership, it probably costs a dollar. There is also a clip that goes around the hole the pin goes into, just in case it ever decides to start slipping out (which if you've ever tried taking one off, you'd think it's impossible).

yea that thing is a bitch pin... after reading about it and trying for about a half hour to remove it during my rebuild i just left it attached to the tranny, unbolted it from the shifter and pulled the engine\trans with it still attached and dropped the engine\trans without taking that pin out lol
