need help!!!!!!!!!!
alright this is my situation i have a 99 gs auto (i know) well from what i've seen and heard a 5 speed will cost me about 2 grand for everything but a torque converter would be cheaper it will cost about half but will i see as big a gain as with a 5 speed please don't say get a new car not a option unless my parents help me out on a rsx type s doubt it though,
I've heard that a good torque convertor can make a big improvement in drive train effeciency (ie less power is lost between the engine and wheels). It won't be as fast as a 5 speed, but it's a start. I don't care for automatics and I know that most people here don't either, but it's still a good car, it's still an Integra.
yea, it's gonna be A LOT more than $2g for the 5 speed conversion. you'd need an ecu, tranny, clutch, flywheel, shoft linkage, shifter, shoft ****, and installation... yikes.... get a good torque convertor and deal with getting a new car later... keep your eyes out for a used rsx-s if thats what you want. good luck

Yeah, go for it if you think it is a wise investment. I already know what it will take to install a tranny (at least two people and three jacks). Once you get that in the rest should go rather quickly. I personally have never dealt with the rest. Remember, you have to find a place (or someone) to help you out with it.
