need help
My 94 ls teg is making clicking noises on the front wheels. This happens when moving forward or backward. Didn't want to aggrevate the problem so my teg has been sitting in the driveway for weeks now. No one around can seem to give me a straight answer. Don't really want to spend a lot of $$$ if I don't have too. I normally do my own repairs. Hoping someone in H/T can help.
Check your CV boot if it's torn or ripped. If it is, then looks like dirt probably got in there and that can cause problems. Usually a bad CV joint will make a clicking noise while turning.
cv joint problems --- not likely because the noise happens when the wheels roll regardless if i'm turning or not.
