Need alot of help
Hey, I am new to the automotive community and looking into buying my first car. I am currently thinking about a 1992 Acura Integra GSR with 188,000 miles on it for $3,000 and having the engine rebuilt and getting a new transmission. I have $8,500 to spend on a car and I am looking for a fast reliable one that is preferably an Integra. I also need to be able to beat a 93 Buick grand national and a 93 Ford Thunderbird in a race. They are both automatics but the person that has the Buick is getting a super charger and dual exhaust. I am not very good with a manual, I tried driving a 1989 nissan stanza with one and I was horrible but then I drove a 2000 Audi TT and found it to be very easy, how is manual in the Integra. Please help me find a car that can beat those other two. Any driving/racing tips or tips in general would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot,
Robert

Hey, please talk to me like I am a moron because I am, even more so when it comes with cars. What are the steps I should I take. I am not going to be able to do the work myself, can any mechanic do it?
Thanks,
Robert
