Default Which mount is this?

i need the mount thats next to the oil pan. someone said this mount helps with shifting on manual transmissions..is this true?

Mine is deteriorating.

its a torque mount, bolted the the AC bracket and the the underside of the car. It is so the motor can't "torque back and forth. Yes it will pop your tranny outa gear without them, as well as jerking the engine around and causing stress and wear on the motor mounts.

thanks man. 14 is the driverside right?...just making sure

where is number 12 located on the car? i want to take a look at the one too and replace if necessary

bracket bolted the the front side on the tranny, bolting in the same spot under the car, just on the pass side instead of the drivers.

the energy inserts help a LOT with this problem. the oem mounts are really too soft for any kind of performance driving.

you can also get the avid kit for $100 which comes with the 2 lower mounts, poly bushings in an aluminum shell

although this sounds nice, im not willing to give up a near vibration free cabin! Oem will be just fine.

they aren't. even new they slap on hard downshifts. i THINK the type r mounts are a bit stiffer if you're hell bent on staying sloppy
