for 8800 revs i know i need new springs but do i also need retainers or can i use my stock retainers? my friend i only needed new springs.. Do i need to replace anything else for revs up that high? I heard the rest of the engine can take it no problem, that the stock redline is because of the cams and the springs. Thanks guys

 

im running stock retainers on my gsr, revs up to 9.2k. no probs so far.

 

Yes stock retainers are fine.

i would replace the valves at the same time and the seals for better flow and the seals for just in case.. seals don't cost that much to be replaced

 

where can i by seals? I would really like to replace though. Thanks
