Default map sensor problem

CEL came on and it was map sensor then i replaced it then reset it with the code reader and it still pop back up and it run rich and get bad gas mileage... i dont know what it is... map sensor or i got to replace the harness because i previous owner splice wire on the icav

make sure that little o-ring is not deteriorated/missing

like the previous owner put some new wire on icav but i dont know if that has anything to do with it and i will post a pic tomorrow

Hope this help it has a blox throttle body and a skunk2 pro series maniflod and a vtec control that controll air to fuel ratio

you're supposed to run at the very least a basemap when you switch intake manifolds/increase tb size.

that's unrelated but advice non the less. until we get a better idea of these spliced plug not much to suggest.

well running rich is the same as bad mpg, look into what ECU you have in the car the map could not actually be bad rather something throwing it.

Alright i will check but can a vtec controller make it mess up too (came with the car too)
