tonight i ran something over, and took the first exit i can take. As i was exiting the car decides to shut off. All lights dim and the car doesn't even want to turn over. Hazards didn't even work nor the headlights. THe car decided to kickover and i immediately pulled into a gas station. Everything checked out but then when it came to starting the car went bananas. CLock resetted itself, radio does not want to turn on. cluster lights dim out. Car finally started and i was able to drive it home. Now its doing hte same thing again but now its not even turning over. But the weird thing is dome light shuts on and off when i turn the headlight switch. The cluster slowly regains lumiosity but dies out as soon as i engage the clutch and try to start the car. Guess i would have to check it out in the morning.
POssible Reason anyone? I think its grounding somewhere i need to check
KNow it might sound confusing but **** its pissing me off. Please help.

Similar thing happened to me way back in the day in my DB. Of course that was after I bottomed out on a HUGE pot hole on the I5 at 80mph. Besides cracking my tranny case, the battery (which was not tied down... I wasn't so smart back then) jumped up, dented the hood from the inside and pulled the battery cable loose from the post clamp. The connection was intermittent, so it was doing almost exactly what you described yours to be doing. So check the battery connections all around. +,- fuse box, etc etc. Good luck!
