Maintenance Scheduling
i dont have the owners manual, so im not sure the times for maintenance and what type of maintenance there are. anybody can post a link? or at least post the jizz (
) of it. im at 42k and the maintenance light has came on and im wondering, wtf should i check into or replace?

For my '95 GS-R...
7500 miles engine oil & filter - I do this every 4k & rotate my tires too
every 30k - I do this every 20k:
change transmission oil
adjust valve lash & inspect timing belt
change air filter
every 60k
change spark plugs (GS-R has Pt plugs)
every 90k
change timing belt & waterpump
every 2 years whatever mileage
change antifreeze
change & flush brake fluid (& clutch fluid)

i am not sure what year your car is, but mine is a 2000. here is what my owners manual say for 42k change your oil and filter, replace your coolant, inspect from and rear brakes, replace brake fluid, check parking break adjustment, visually inspect tie rods ends, steering gear box, and boots; suspension components, driveshaft boots, brake hoses (including ABS, all fluid levels and condition of fluids, cooling system hoses and connections, exhaust system, finally but not least fuel lines and connections. hope this helps...
