Yes it is normal, hold the square button under the dash and it'll go away

You see that big red word at the top of your screen, the one that says <u><FONT COLOR="red">Search</FONT></u>? It's there so that even the most CLUELESS folks can find it. If you use it, you can find all 23,938,376 previous topics that asked about the maintenance required light. For example, looking at the titles only of archived topics in this forum...
