Ok, I'm not hitting vtec. My solenoid is working and clicking when I jump it, I am getting plenty of oil pressure, new oil, plenty of oil. Now I'm not sure if the ecu I got is actually a hondata s100. Any way I can find out?

No it has never hit vtec since the swap, I just did a check light on the solenoid and pressure switch and they aren't getting electricity at all, not even at 4g+ Could it be that the ecu may be for a b16 head instead of a gsr? All my wires are pinned right and I can't find anything wrong...
it doesnt matter what vtec ecu you have, they will all send signal to open the vtec solenoid
what wype of ecu are you running? I would open up the ecu and see what is in there, the hondata chip will say "hondata" on it
